What are the major steps required to get an authorized copy of Metrosonus?

  1. Download Trial Version, Give it a try.
  2. Want to buy it? Get Verification Code from first screen.
  3. Go to ShareIt!, Fill In Form, Enter Verification Code, Buy It.
  4. Open E-mail from ShareIt!
  5. Enter supplied Key Code In Metrosonus.
  6. Enjoy the Metrosonus experience.

Are there any functional restrictions on Metrosonus on free trial runs?

No. The only limitation is on the number of free trial runs. Metrosonus will allow 10 trial runs before denying access.

If I move my authorized copy of Metrosonus to another hard drive (or partition), what is required to reauthorize?

You will need to go to the Register page and click on the Reauthorization link. Fill in the request and submit it to Gladstone Records. You will need to have the verification code for the new location and the email address that was used to purchase and register Metrosonus the first time. We will verify the request and send the new key code if your request is approved. Gladstone Records policy is to review each reauthorization request on a case by case basis.

Attention: Make sure you run the installation on the hard drive where you want the program to reside.

How can I move my presets to a directory of my choice?

Open the Preset Operations window and browse to the desired directory. Successfully complete a Retrieve, Save or Delete operation. Future Preset operations will start in this directory until changed as described.

What settings are not saved in presets?

Preset operations can be initiated from the main Metrosonus window. All settings except STOP/PLAY, HELP and EXIT can be saved/restored.

What is the maximum Wave file length that can be generated?

The maximum depends upon the userís system capacity, (hard drive open space). An approximate space requirement is 5292 Kbytes per minute of output time in mono. Double this figure for stereo files.

What kind of user help is provided once Metrosonus is running?

Most controls provide a short hint by holding the cursor over the control. Right-clicking over a control will call up a more detailed description. Finally, clicking the HELP button will open the Help window to allow browsing through all functions.

If I have trouble installing or running Metrosonus, how do I get additional help?

Key Code Problems. Your email from ShareIt! inserts an error code instead of an 8 character key code.

This most likely means you have incorrectly entered the Verification Code. The Verification Code given by Metrosonus is case sensitive. Be very careful keying in the code. It is recommended that you use the copy function of windows to enter the code. This will minimize, if not eliminate, the possibility of entry mistakes.
